I'm back
Well, Vegas was fun, but boy was I glad to get home. It felt so good to get reaquainted with my pillow!
The week is in full swing and I am back to being creative and productive. It feels so nice. I'm not sure I will find my niche on Etsy, it's frustrating to still have sold nothing. I know, patience.
The other reason I wonder if I will make it is I am artistically ADD. I have so many ideas, and I want to use every medium imaginable. I love it all.
Despite that, here are a couple of hair clips I made today.
I haven't decided if I should list them or not. I think yes to the green, it's so unusual, but no to the red, it feels unfinished.

I think they are both pretty! I tried to make some ribbon flowers, is that what they are made of?
No. The first two fascinators I made were made of ribbon, but these are made of material. I cut out shapes and melted it over a candle, then stacked sewed, and reinforced with glue. Then I added stiffiner, and shaped it till I was happy. I realized all the clothes I need to donate will be endlessly useful in creating embellishments!
